I always drew as a kid, loved the Star Wars movies, and finally got into comics after seeing the first Michael Keaton Batman movie. A friend of mine had the Batman movie book drawn by Jerry Ordway and

right then I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. It took a while to get there, but I have been working in comics for the last 7 years for companies like Heroic Publishing, Students of the Unusual, and MoonStone Books.

For the past 5 years I have been an assistant to industry veteran Dick Giordano, and together we have produced work for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Top Cow Comics, and Egmont Publishing. Dick was one of my first artistic influences, and getting to work with him every day has been the best learning experience anyone could have. I also

have to thank Brian Stelfreeze for a recent lesson which has totally changed how I see comics and how I draw.

I've been applying those lessons to my creator owned project, Perfect Storm. I created Erin while in college in 1998, dug it out again a couple years ago for Dark Horses first "strip search" contest, and have been working on it ever since.
